2.10 p.m. Citizens of the Year - Presentations

2.20 p.m. Crowning of the 2008/2009 Fairy Queen

2.30 p.m Andy B's Karaoke on the Bandstand

3.00 p.m. Assembly of the Children's Fancy Dress

3.15 p.m. Judging of the Fancy Dress Competition
Class 3 - Infants (under 5) - Singles or Pairs
Class 4 - Juniors (5-11 years) - Singles or Pairs
Class 5 - Infant/Junior Group - 3 or more

3.40 p.m. Children's Walking Parade along The Strand

4.00 p.m. Crowning of the 2008/2009 Bude Carnival Queen
at the Bandstand followed by Class 2 - Senior Queen of Queens Competition

4.30 p.m. Class 1 - Fairy Queen Competition
at the Bandstand in the Castle Grounds

EVENING CARNIVAL - LOWER WHARF

Vehicles assemble by 5 p.m. - Participants by 5.30 p.m.
The Wharf will be open from 2.30 p.m. For assembly of Carnival floats

5.45 p.m. Judging of:
Class 6 - Juvenile Masqueraders - Singles or Pairs
(Walkers 16 years and under)
Class 7 - Adult Masqueraders - Singles or Pairs
(Walkers 17 years and over)
Class 8 - Masquerader Group - 3 or more
Class 9 - Children's Tableaux
Class 10 - Comic Tableaux
Class 11 - Artistic Tableaux
Class 12 - Vintage
Class 13 - Medley Cup
Class 14 - Best Royalty Float
Class 15 - Best Royalty Car
Class 16 - Trade Tableaux
SPECIAL Theme Prize, Best in Carnival

6.30 p.m. The Carnival Procession leaves the Lower Wharf
Car Park and proceeds through the town
